Community Activities

Through our in house registered charity Kentish Town Improvement Fund we are able to provide patients and staff with a wide range of creative and innovative health and well-being activities.

Free Space Gallery

An arts Programme of exhibitions, creative workshops and an artist in residence scheme all on a health and well-being theme.

Art Therapy

Art therapy is available as a one to one or group service taking place weekly in the GYM room at the Kentish Town Health Centre.

Well–Beeing Garden

At the Kentish Town Health Centre we are lucky enough to have a dedicated garden space in which we run weekly garden sessions growing fruit, vegetables and herbs on site.

Dance for people with Parkinson’s

This weekly class for people with Parkinson’s gives participants the opportunity to work with professional dancers to express themselves through music.

Aromatherapy Massage

James Wigg and Queens Crescent patients are eligible for a free aromatherapy massage on site at the Kentish Town Health Centre. Aromatherapy is a wonderful way to deal with a range of chronic conditions as well as to aid relaxation.

Cycle maintenance workshops

To promote healthy living we are pleased to be able to offer cycle maintenance workshops each month.

Drawing for people with Aphasia

A monthly drawing workshop for people with speech or language loss due to stroke or head injury.
